In the Rajnagar constituency, supporters of two political leaders clashed in the early hours of Friday, leading to the unfortunate death of a person named Salman, as reported by Chhatarpur Superintendent of Police Amit Sanghi.

The Congress candidate for the seat, Vikram Singh, also known as Nati Raja, claimed that Salman used to be his driver. On the other hand, BJP nominee Arvind Pateria dismissed the incident as a conspiracy and called for a judicial probe into the matter.

To maintain peace during the polls in the sensitive Sumawali assembly constituency of Morena district, the police instructed BJP candidate Andal Singh Kansana, Congress nominee Ajab Singh Kushwaha, and BSP’s Kuldeep Singh Sikarwar to gather in one location.

According to Morena Superintendent of Police Shailendra Singh, the trio was called for a meeting the previous day, and they agreed to gather at the police line, a practice that has been followed for some time. Morena, located in the Chambal region, was known for producing dreaded dacoits in the past. SP Singh clarified that a clash between two groups occurred in Mirdhan village over attempts to hinder voters from casting their ballots in the Dimni constituency, resulting in two injuries. He mentioned that some channels reported inaccurately, claiming firing and subsequent bullet injuries in the village.

On Friday morning, a clash between two groups affiliated with political parties in Manglia village of Mhow tehsil resulted in injuries to five men, according to Sub Divisional Officer of Police Dilip Chowdhary.

In the Jhabua constituency, Congress candidate Dr. Vikrant Bhuria’s security guard sustained injuries when stones were thrown at them around midnight on Thursday.
