New Delhi, Jan 04 (The Street Press India) – On Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stated that the government, led by the BJP, aims to arrest him to prevent his participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking at a press conference, he claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is attempting to damage his reputation.
Alleging a plot, he stated, “My lawyers have told me that the ED summons are illegal. BJP wants to arrest me to stop me from campaigning for Lok Sabha polls”.
On Wednesday, the 55-year-old Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor declined to appear before the Enforcement Directorate for the third time.
